Tips on How to Play Blackjack
One of the most popular casino games today, Blackjack is fun and easy to learn! Have the total point value of cards dealt exceed the point value of the dealer’s hand without going over 21 (bust). Everyone plays against the dealer.

OVERVIEW
The dealer gives each player 2 cards. The dealer also gets 2 cards: 1 face down, 1 face up. Ten, Jack, Queen, and King count as 10. Aces count either as 1 or 11 depending on the player’s choice for each hand. Other cards play at their face value. If the player receives an Ace and a 10-value card as his/her first two cards, the player has “Blackjack” and will win, unless the dealer also has Blackjack. In this case, it is a tie (push). If the player asks for another card (hits) and his/her total is more than 21, then the player has busted and loses. If the player does not go over 21 and the dealer does, the player wins. The dealer is the only person allowed to remove or alter the location of the cards. If you’re unsure of the total, ask the dealer.

KEY RULES
-          If the player’s total is closer to 21 than the dealer’s total, the PLAYER WINS.
-          If the player hits and the total is more than 21, the player LOSES.
-          If the player and the dealer have the same total, it is a TIE/PUSH.

SPLITTING PAIRS
If the player’s first two cards have the same numeric value, the player may split them into two hands. The bet on the split hand must equal the original bet. Only after the first hand is played and completed may the player play on the second hand. You can split up to 4 times. If the split cards are Aces, there will be a one card draw on each hand.

DOUBLE DOWN
After receiving the first two cards, the player can wager an additional amount not to exceed the value of the original bet. With this bet, the player will receive only 1 additional card.
